Giuditta Vettese (b. 1994) was born in Milan, where she lives and works.

She graduated in esthetical philosophy (Università Statale di Milano - Paris Sorbonne) with a thesis on the gaze as a channel of desire and on the power of images. She specialised at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes in Paris with a thesis between philosophy and anthropology on the embodied status of spiritual experience.

She has always believed in the value of multidisciplinarity as a source of research, vitality and flexibility. Today she combines her profession as a set designer (since 2015) with an independent research on forms, exploring with various media - mainly sculpture, painting and artistic still life - themes related to eroticism, matter and subtle phenomena. She exposes her research in institutions as Spazio Volta in Bergamo and the galleria Rossana Orlandi.

She founded and is part of the collective Provinciale 11, a travelling art and curatorial project. She also curates the archive of a private contemporary art collection. She has exhibited at Spazio Volta (Bergamo), Galleria Rossana Orlandi (Milan). She also co-directed the short documentary film ‘En Camino. Mexico, machismo y nubes’, winner of the best short film award (SAFF 28).

She speaks Italian, French, English and Spanish.
